Description:
What happens when the glass slippers pinch Cinderella's toes? When Jaine Andersen proposes a new marketing role to the local amusement park, general manager Dylan Callahan charms her into filling Cinderella's glass slippers for the summer. Her reign transforms Jaine's ordinary life into chaos that would bewilder a fairy godmother. Secretly dating her bad boy boss, running wedding errands for her ungrateful sisters, and defending herself from the park's resident villain means Jaine needs lots more than a comfy pair of shoes to restore order in her kingdom. First in the Storybook Valley series, a blend of sweet romance, chick lit, and fairy tale fun.

Fooling Around With Cinderella by Stacey Juba is about a girl named Jaine who is at her sisters demanding  call from planning their perfect wedding to babysitting. For Jaine her only “vacation” and relief from the chaos is finding a job outside away from her family. The only thing is, this modern day Cinderella has to be sure her family does not find out. That would not be fair for them, who would wait on them!? And that’s exactly why Jaine is trying so hard to break free to pursue her own dreams even if it means not doing what she really wants…for now.

When Jaine applies for a marketing position in the local Storybook Valley theme park she gets her first interview with Dylan Callahan. When she goes she finds out there is no room in marketing but realizing her creativity and determination she is offered another opportunity but what she doesn’t know that it involves a princess costume, to be exact it’s to be Cinderella. For Jaine, this is not her dream job but it’s also not the worst thing that could possibly happen. For her she is already in and all she has to do is bide her time and as she works also forming new ideas and strategies for the park.

Fooling Around With Cinderella by Stacey Juba has a little everything keeping the story enjoyable to read. Keeping the hallmarks with a modern day twist. Its got some humor, mild romance, rivalry and a little mystery. Ito a fun story and we’ll written, it keeps the readers attention throughout the story with consistent follow through and delivery. The main characters are not over the top but are not underwhelming either, it also has equally fun supporting characters. Fooling Around With Cinderella by Stacey Juba is the first in the Storybook Valley Series.
